Procreation’s Expiration Date - 2009

$1,995.00

This piece is about our limited time to live and create.  I also got comments about this piece from the Spiritual and Religious Show, but they where more along the lines of, oh yeah I know that piece.  So what does that mean?  It is good to be noticed and remembered though.  Others have said wow, that is so beautiful.  I love how it turned out and how the light plays with the clear acrylic.  It took forever to melt and shape it, but the look is terrific.  Note that the eggs have barcodes and expiration dates on them.

Fruitful Sacrifice

Exhibited Springville Museum.
$795.00
This piece is made from reclaimed wood ( when we tore down our wall – from 1969 ). I also used old books, made ceramic trees, and harvested peach pits or seeds depending on how you look at it. That’s the core of this work, is having children a pit, or a seed in your life, your future? The seeds or pits can slide back and forth on the metal rod. One side of the rod is pros the others cons. Obviously I consider children seeds, or possibilities for growth.
