This is one of the pieces that I got into the Spirituality Show, the lovely thing is that when I picked it up the curator said that I’d had a lot of comments on it.  Also she said that when her mother came to see the show that this piece made her cry.  Wow!  It absolutely made my day.

The frame was made for this piece by George Barnhill.  It has 24k gold leaf around the edge.  George is an artist, in his sculpture and his custom frame work.

I see this and I think of  how God is the most glorious artist and  scientist.  The natural world is incredible,  the way God works the laws of the universe to make beauty for us to remind us that there is something more than the muck and despair that many of us have to wade through.  The visual and auditory beauty that surrounds us in nature is evidence that we need more than practicality in our lives.  We need to be lifted up, to look up and receive hope.

This is an amazing, wonderful idea put to action! Imagine visually implementing your belief that prayer is like a phone call to God, puting it on sticky notes and then on phones all over the city.  It is so powerful to do this, to show others your belief. Amen!
