There is a lot of older farm equipment around town that provides terrific subject matter. The old paint is lovely.

Clear blue skies after a snow storm, even the bare branches are heavy with flakes. It’s amazing how God makes every thing lovely with a blanket of snow.

I was driving through Clinton and saw this! I love the classic feel, not that old, and is a great design. Utah has a great truck population.

This truck is near retirement. It is weathered and in the weather, but still handsome.

See if you can find this, while driving down main in Nephi.  It’s a building sized collage, all the more gorgeous because of it’s gradual birth.

Newer and bigger is not necessarily better. Age can add appeal. If you are driving through Nephi, you may find this sign. I love photographs of a slice of a more nostalgic time.

This photograph is of an old farm house window. The house is at least a hundred years old. Here in the west that’s old. I like the patina of age, it seems graceful still, though it is neglected.

This home has lived through it all, and still has loveliness.  The sun keeps lighting up the mountians behind it and then it just glows.

The Barn series is an study in weather and light change.  I’ve always been impressed with the constance of change,  yet every view though different is still valuable.

I can’t help my self I love to take pictures of the different views of this barn.  We have had some really lovely light lately, I keep missing it – but this is close.  Notice the goats, there is a whole family of them, my son named one Arya ( yes from Eragon ).  The baby goat was really terrific to watch.
